Health Official Jennifer Galarza Invited to Participate In Congresswoman Pou's Healthcare Council
On Wednesday, August 26th, Health Official Jennifer Galarza and Public Health Nurse Janet Calhoun attended the first meeting of Congresswoman Nellie Pou’s Healthcare Advisory Council at William Paterson University. We are proud to announce that Jennifer Galarza was invited to join this Council “to ensure the needs of our district are at the forefront of the federal policy making process.”
The Council brought together healthcare leaders, public health professionals, and community partners to discuss important regional healthcare challenges and priorities. The Rutherford Health Department is grateful to have been part of such a meaningful conversation about the future of healthcare and the needs of the people we serve.
