Safe Bike Skills Classes with the Green Team: September 13

The Rutherford Green Team, in cooperation with EZ Ride, is hosting Safe Bike Skills Classes on Sunday, September 13th, 2026, at Pierrepont School, located at 70 E. Pierrepont Ave, Rutherford. Class to be held on the black top on the East side of the school.
Session is 1 hour at 1:00PM

Participation in this fun and educational event open to children residing in Rutherford and currently in grades third through sixth. This is not a learn-to-ride program and children should be comfortable with basic riding without training wheels.

Learn proper helmet fitting, how to check your bike, and NJ traffic rules of the road.

PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR A HELMET AND SNEAKERS.

Each child must bring a bicycle in good working order and a helmet, which they are required to wear at all times during the event. Limited number of helmets available.

No child will be permitted to participate without the EZ Ride executed permission slip and WAIVER/liability release which will be emailed separately after registration. Printed and signed waivers must be brought to the event.
