The RIAA Hosts The Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade Sunday, March 1st

The Rutherford Irish American Association will host its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 1st.

Parade kicks off at 1pm at Woodland and Park Avenues, ending at Park and Ames Avenue.

Park Ave will be closed to all traffic beginning 12:00pm and will reopen following the parade’s completion; the Station Square area will close to traffic beginning 9:00am.

Parade-goers are asked to take public transportation, carpool or walk to the parade route as snow will likely still impact parking on side streets. We appreciate the public’s cooperation in viewing the parade from sidewalks and staying off the roadway.

Parade participants will utilize Marginal Road from Park Avenue to Daniel Avenue for staging and lineup. For safety purposes there will be no parking on Marginal Road, which will be closed from 11:00 to 2:00 pm.

Consumption of alcohol or drugs on public property is strictly prohibited.
