Rutgers Community Climate Impact Survey - In Person March 9th & Online

The New Jersey Climate Change Resource Center at Rutgers University is helping Rutherford Borough develop a Climate Change-Related Hazard Vulnerability Assessment (CCRHVA). A CCRHVA is a required part of a municipality’s “master plan” in NJ. The master plan sets a vision and guides development in the municipality. The purpose of a CCRHVA is to help a municipality identify potential land use and zoning strategies to increase resilience to climate-related hazards such as flooding and heat.

Your local knowledge and experience are needed to help develop the CCRHVA. The survey takes about 10 minutes. As a thanks for your time, at the end of the survey you may choose to enter your email for a chance to win one of ten $25 Visa e-gift cards.
