Update: What’s going on in Lincoln Park?

Work on the new gazebo at Lincoln Park is nearing completion! The footing, foundations and structure are complete.  Asphalt roofing will be going in this week. We need a slightly warmer day to pour concrete, which will be followed by railings for the finishing touches.

Additionally, in further effort to maintain the beautification of Lincoln Park, DPW staff recently reseeded the area with fresh soil to replenish the grass area that suffered after all of the park activity last year.  A blanket was placed over the seeded area to increase the success of the germination process. Spring will be here before we know it, and Lincoln Park will be bustling with activity!
