Fitness Court Opening at Memorial Park

Announcing the Opening of the Brand New Fitness Court at Memorial Park!

Thanks to a partnership between the Borough of Rutherford, the National Fitness Campaign and Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield, we have a new addition to Memorial Park for exercise enthusiasts! 

The Fitness Court is located on the western end of the park towards the river just behind the Diamond 4 outfield fence and offers 7 zones: Core, Squat, Push, Lunge, Pull, Agility and Bend.

Each zone is intended for 3 basic exercises equallling 21 movements. Residents are invtied to create their own circuts and there are even QR codes with challenges and workouts. 

This project was funded through the Memorial Park Capital Improvements and a Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield $50,000 grant.
