The Rutherford Health Department will be conducting a Free Skin Cancer Screening Program for Rutherford residents on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, between the hours of 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Health Center, 184 Park Avenue, Rutherford, NJ.
Preethi Ramaswamy, MD a board certified dermatologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers will be performing the screening.
One in five Americans will be diagnosed with skin cancer in the course of a lifetime. Skin cancer is curable if diagnosed early. Melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer is rising among young men and women between the ages of 20 and 39. If you have moles that are irregular and are changing in shape, size or color, please participate in the skin cancer screening event.
Appointments are required for the screening.
